The Board of Directors of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) has approved the
implementation of a Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification for its members. The inaugural
certification course will be held at 8:00 a.m. on July 11, 2016, at the Marriott Hotel, Augusta, GA 30023
in conjunction with the GGIA 2016 Summer Street Gang Conference which begins on July 12, 2016.
Personnel applying to obtain a GGIA Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification must meet the following
criteria:
Be a member in good standing of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association
Pay a tuition cost of $100.00
Attend the entire 8 hour GGIA Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification Course
Successfully pass the Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification test of 50 questions with minimum score of 70%
