The new GGIA Metro Atlanta Region will host its first training/intel session on August 28, 2019 from 0900-1200.  The meeting will be held at the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council Training Room @ 1590 Adamson Pkwy, Morrow, GA 30260.

ASAC Josh Thompson from the Georgia Department of Corrections and FBI Safe Streets Task Force will lead an in-depth study of the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods.  He will trace their history from their founding in New York to their proliferation across Georgia.  Bring your Nine Trey cases for an intel-sharing session.  If you will ever be asked to investigate or prosecute Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, you do not want to miss this course!

This will be the first in a series of training sessions focused on deep-dives into our most significant gang threats.  Planned upcoming sessions include Young Slime Life (YSL), Sex Money Murder (SMM), and a hands-on session for Expert Testimony.

To best facilitate a concentrated training session, this class is only open to 100 participants.  If the class fills, Metro Region agencies will receive priority.  This includes Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale Counties.  But don’t worry about being left out - if there is demand for this training in other regions, we will schedule additional sessions near you.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we can open seats to agencies outside the region if there is space.
