The Board of Directors of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association (GGIA) has approved the implementation of a Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification for its members. The certification course will be sponsored by the Ware County District Attorney's Office at 8:00 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2021. The training will be hosted at the Ware County Transportation Building located at 1870 West Drive in Waycross, GA. 31503. Personnel applying to obtain a GGIA Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification must meet the following criteria:
Be a current member in good standing of the Georgia Gang Investigators Association
Registration and payment required in advance
Pay a tuition cost of $100.00
Attend the entire 8 hour GGIA Basic Street Gang Investigator Certification Course Certification test of 50 questions with minimum score of 70%
Please register and submit $100.00 check or money order to: GGIA, c/o Secretary, P.O. Box 2949, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
